FishLogAI is a digital logbook and nautical chart app built specifically for commercial lobster fishermen. It displays real NOAA nautical charts on your phone, lets you log every haul with GPS coordinates, and uses your catch history along with moon phase and tide data to help you find your best spots. All of your data is stored locally on your device — your spots stay your spots.
What does FishLogAI do?
FishLogAI puts real NOAA nautical charts on your iPhone with your catch data overlaid as color-coded markers. You can log hauls with GPS coordinates (or Loran-C TDs), track keeper counts, view tide and moon phase data, and get AI-powered predictions for your best fishing spots based on your own history.
Is my fishing data private?
Yes. All of your data is stored locally on your device. We do not have user accounts, cloud servers, or any way to see your fishing records. Your spots stay completely private. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How does the free trial work?
FishLogAI Pro includes a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically renew at $99.99/year. You can cancel at any time through your iPhone’s Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open your iPhone’s Settings app, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Find FishLogAI Pro in the list and tap Cancel Subscription. Your access will continue until the end of the current billing period.
How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe. Open FishLogAI and tap Restore Purchase on the subscription screen. Your subscription status will be verified through the App Store automatically.
What charts does the app show?
FishLogAI displays official NOAA nautical charts (the same charts used in iNavX and other marine navigation apps) covering all U.S. waters. Canadian waters (Bay of Fundy, Nova Scotia) are covered by Canadian Hydrographic Service (CHS) charts. Charts include depth soundings, contour lines, buoys, lights, and all standard navigational features.
Can I enter Loran-C TD numbers?
Yes. FishLogAI includes a built-in Loran-C to GPS converter for the 9960 chain (Gulf of Maine). You can enter your old Loran TD numbers and the app will convert them to latitude/longitude and plot them on the chart.
Does the app work offline?
Your fishing log data is always available offline since it is stored on your device. The nautical chart tiles require an internet connection to load, but tiles you have previously viewed will be cached for offline use.
Can I scan my old paper logbooks?
Yes. FishLogAI includes a logbook scanning feature that uses your camera to photograph handwritten log pages and extract the data (coordinates, trap counts, catch numbers) automatically.
